Therefore (A)do not be ashamed of (B)the testimony about our Lord, nor of (C)me his prisoner, but (D)share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, (E)who saved us and (F)called us to[a] a holy calling, (G)not because of our works but because of (H)his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus (I)before the ages began,[b] 10 and which now has (J)been manifested through (K)the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, (L)who abolished death and (M)brought life and (N)immortality to light through the gospel, 11 (O)for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher, 12 (P)which is why I suffer as I do. Not Ashamed of the Gospel

So don’t be ashamed(A) of the testimony about our Lord,(B) or of me his prisoner.(C) Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power(D) of God. He has saved us and called us with a holy calling,(E) not according to our works,(F) but according to his own purpose(G) and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. 10 This has now been made evident through the appearing(H) of our Savior Christ Jesus, who has abolished death(I) and has brought life(J) and immortality to light through the gospel. 11 For this gospel I was appointed(K) a herald, apostle, and teacher,[a] 12 and that is why I suffer(L) these things. But I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to guard what has been entrusted to me[b](M) until that day.(N)
