16 The Lord grant mercy to (A)the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and (B)was not ashamed of my [a](C)chains; 17 but when he was in Rome, he eagerly searched for me and found me— 18 the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord on (D)that day—and you know very well what services he rendered at (E)Ephesus.

16 May the Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my imprisonment.[a] 17 But when he arrived in Rome, he eagerly searched for me and found me. 18 May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day![b] And you know very well all the ways he served me in Ephesus.[c]
