For among them are those who [a](A)slip into households and captivate [b](B)weak women weighed down with sins, led on by (C)various impulses, always learning and never able to (D)come to the [c]knowledge of the truth. Just as (E)Jannes and Jambres (F)opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, (G)men of depraved mind, [d]worthless in regard to the faith. But they will not make further progress; for their (H)foolishness will be obvious to all, just (I)as was that also of [e]Jannes and Jambres.

For from these are the ones creeping into the houses and taking-captive little-women[a]women having been heaped with sins, being led by various desires, always learning and never being able to come to the knowledge of the truth. And the way Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, in this manner these also oppose the truth— people having been corrupted as to the mind, disapproved with respect to the faith. But they will not advance further, for their folly will be very-evident to everyone, as also the folly of those two came-to-be[b].
