6 For among them are those who [a](A)slip into households and captivate [b](B)weak women weighed down with sins, led on by (C)various impulses, 7 always learning and never able to (D)come to the [c]knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as (E)Jannes and Jambres (F)opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, (G)men of depraved mind, [d]worthless in regard to the faith. 9 But they will not make further progress; for their (H)foolishness will be obvious to all, just (I)as was that also of [e]Jannes and Jambres.

For They Deceive The Ignorant And Oppose The Truth
6 For from these are the ones creeping into the houses and taking-captive little-women[a]— women having been heaped with sins, being led by various desires, 7 always learning and never being able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 And the way Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, in this manner these also oppose the truth— people having been corrupted as to the mind, disapproved with respect to the faith. 9 But they will not advance further, for their folly will be very-evident to everyone, as also the folly of those two came-to-be[b].

6 They are the kind who worm their way(A) into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.(B) 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses,(C) so also these teachers oppose(D) the truth. They are men of depraved minds,(E) who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men,(F) their folly will be clear to everyone.
