2 Timothy 1:8-12
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
8 Do not be ashamed, then, of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel, in the power of God,(A) 9 who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace, and this grace was given to us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,[a](B) 10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ,[b] who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.(C) 11 For this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher,[c](D) 12 and for this reason I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know the one in whom I have put my trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard until that day the deposit I have entrusted to him.[d](E)

8 Therefore (A)do not be ashamed of the (B)testimony of our Lord or of me (C)His prisoner, but join with me in (D)suffering for the (E)gospel according to the power of God, 9 who (F)saved us and (G)called us with a holy (H)calling, (I)not according to our works, but according to His own (J)purpose and grace, which was granted to us in (K)Christ Jesus from (L)all eternity, 10 but has (M)now been revealed by the (N)appearing of our Savior (O)Christ Jesus, who (P)abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11 (Q)for which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher. 12 For this reason I also suffer these things; but (R)I am not ashamed, for I know (S)whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to (T)protect what I have entrusted to Him [a]until (U)that day.

2 Timothy 1:8-12
New International Version
8 So do not be ashamed(A) of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner.(B) Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel,(C) by the power of God. 9 He has saved(D) us and called(E) us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done(F) but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 10 but it has now been revealed(G) through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus,(H) who has destroyed death(I) and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 11 And of this gospel(J) I was appointed(K) a herald and an apostle and a teacher.(L) 12 That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame,(M) because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard(N) what I have entrusted to him until that day.(O)
