2 Timothy 2:7-15

7 Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.
8 Remember Jesus Christ, (A)risen from the dead, (B)descendant of David, (C)according to my gospel, 9 [a]for which I (D)suffer hardship even to (E)imprisonment as a (F)criminal; but (G)the word of God (H)is not imprisoned. 10 For this reason (I)I endure all things for (J)the sake of [b]those who are chosen, (K)so that they also may obtain the (L)salvation which is in (M)Christ Jesus and with it (N)eternal glory. 11 (O)The statement is trustworthy:
For (P)if we died with Him, we will also live with Him;
12 If we endure, (Q)we will also reign with Him;
If we [c](R)deny Him, He will also deny us;
13 If we are faithless, (S)He remains faithful, for (T)He cannot deny Himself.
An Unashamed Worker
14 Remind them of these things, and solemnly (U)exhort them in the presence of God not to (V)dispute about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the listeners. 15 Be diligent to (W)present yourself approved to God as a worker who [d]does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling (X)the word of truth.

7 νόει [a]ὃ λέγω· [b]δώσει γάρ σοι ὁ κύριος σύνεσιν ἐν πᾶσιν.
8 Μνημόνευε Ἰησοῦν Χριστὸν ἐγηγερμένον ἐκ νεκρῶν, ἐκ σπέρματος Δαυίδ, κατὰ τὸ εὐαγγέλιόν μου· 9 ἐν ᾧ κακοπαθῶ μέχρι δεσμῶν ὡς κακοῦργος. ἀλλὰ ὁ λόγος τοῦ θεοῦ οὐ δέδεται· 10 διὰ τοῦτο πάντα ὑπομένω διὰ τοὺς ἐκλεκτούς, ἵνα καὶ αὐτοὶ σωτηρίας τύχωσιν τῆς ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ μετὰ δόξης αἰωνίου. 11 πιστὸς ὁ λόγος· εἰ γὰρ συναπεθάνομεν, καὶ συζήσομεν· 12 εἰ ὑπομένομεν, καὶ συμβασιλεύσομεν· εἰ [c]ἀρνησόμεθα, κἀκεῖνος ἀρνήσεται ἡμᾶς· 13 εἰ ἀπιστοῦμεν, ἐκεῖνος πιστὸς μένει· [d]ἀρνήσασθαι ἑαυτὸν οὐ δύναται.
14 Ταῦτα ὑπομίμνῃσκε, διαμαρτυρόμενος ἐνώπιον τοῦ [e]κυρίου, μὴ λογομαχεῖν, [f]ἐπ’ οὐδὲν χρήσιμον, ἐπὶ καταστροφῇ τῶν ἀκουόντων. 15 σπούδασον σεαυτὸν δόκιμον παραστῆσαι τῷ θεῷ, ἐργάτην ἀνεπαίσχυντον, ὀρθοτομοῦντα τὸν λόγον τῆς ἀληθείας.
