Thanksgiving
3 (A)We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers,[a] as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. 4 Therefore (B)we ourselves boast about you (C)in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith (D)in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring.

Thanksgiving and encouragement
3 Brothers and sisters, we must always thank God for you. This is only right because your faithfulness is growing by leaps and bounds, and the love that all of you have for each other is increasing. 4 That’s why we ourselves are bragging about you in God’s churches. We tell about your endurance and faithfulness in all the harassments and trouble that you have put up with.
