25 Now in all Israel was no one as handsome as Absalom, so highly praised; (A)from the sole of his foot to the top of his head there was no defect in him. 26 When he (B)shaved the hair of his head (and it was at the end of every year that he shaved it, for it was heavy on him so he shaved it), he weighed the hair of his head at [a]200 shekels by the king’s weight. 27 (C)And to Absalom there were born three sons, and one daughter whose name was (D)Tamar; she was a woman of beautiful appearance.

From the top of his head to the sole of his foot there was no blemish in him. 26 Whenever he cut the hair of his head(A)—he used to cut his hair once a year because it became too heavy for him—he would weigh it, and its weight was two hundred shekels[a] by the royal standard.

27 Three sons(B) and a daughter were born to Absalom. His daughter’s name was Tamar,(C) and she became a beautiful woman.
