14 (A)Therefore, (B)beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be (C)found (D)spotless and blameless by Him, at peace, 15 and regard the (E)patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also (F)our beloved brother Paul, (G)according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of (H)these things, (I)in which there are some things that are hard to understand, which the untaught and (J)unstable distort, as they do also (K)the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to have the Lord[a] find you at peace and without spot or fault. 15 Think of our Lord’s patience as facilitating salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him. 16 He speaks about this subject in all his letters. Some things in them are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, leading to their own destruction, as they do the rest of the Scriptures.
