Be on Your Guard

14 (A)Therefore, (B)beloved, since you are looking for these things, be diligent to be (C)found by Him in peace, (D)spotless and blameless, 15 and consider the (E)patience of our Lord as salvation, just as also (F)our beloved brother Paul, (G)according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of (H)these things, (I)in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and (J)unstable distort, as they do also (K)the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Final Exhortations and Conclusion

14 Therefore, dear friends, because you[a] are waiting for these things, make every effort to be found at peace, spotless and unblemished in him. 15 And regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as also our dear brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom that was given to him, 16 as he does also in all his[b][c] letters, speaking in them about these things, in which there are some things hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable distort to their own destruction, as they also do the rest of the scriptures.
