⁵ Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith ^(A)supply ^(B)moral ^[a]excellence, and in your moral excellence, ^(C)knowledge, ⁶ and in your knowledge, ^(D)self-control, and in your self-control, ^(E)perseverance, and in your perseverance, ^(F)godliness, ⁷ and in your godliness, ^[b](G)brotherly kindness, and in your ^[c]brotherly kindness, ^[d]love. ⁸ For if these things are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor ^(H)unfruitful in the ^(I)full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ For in whom these things are not present, that one is ^(J)blind, being nearsighted, having ^[e]forgotten the ^(K)purification from his former sins.
