3 seeing that His (A)divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the (B)full knowledge of Him who (C)called us [a]by His own glory and [b]excellence. 4 [c]For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent (D)promises, so that by them you may become (E)partakers of the divine nature, having (F)escaped the (G)corruption that is in (H)the world by lust.
