12 Therefore I will always remind you about these things, even though you know them and are established in the truth(A) you now have. 13 I think it is right, as long as I am in this bodily tent,(B) to wake you up with a reminder, 14 since I know that I will soon lay aside my tent, as our Lord Jesus Christ has indeed made clear to me.(C) 15 And I will also make every effort so that you are able to recall these things at any time after my departure.[a]

12 Therefore, I will always remind you about these things—even though you already know them and are standing firm in the truth you have been taught. 13 And it is only right that I should keep on reminding you as long as I live.[a] 14 For our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me that I must soon leave this earthly life,[b] 15 so I will work hard to make sure you always remember these things after I am gone.
