21 [a](A)Jehoash was seven years old when he became king.
Jehoash Reigns over Judah
12 In the seventh year of Jehu, (B)Jehoash became king, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Zibiah of Beersheba. 2 And Jehoash did what was right in the sight of Yahweh all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 3 Only (C)the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.

21 Joash[a](A) was seven years old when he became king.(B)
12 In the seventh year of Jehu, Joash became king, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Zibiah; she was from Beer-sheba.(C) 2 Throughout the time the priest Jehoiada(D) instructed(E) him, Joash did what was right in the Lord’s sight.(F) 3 Yet the high places were not taken away; the people continued sacrificing and burning incense on the high places.(G)
