2 Men just när kungabarnen skulle dödas, tog Joseba, som var dotter till kung Joram och syster till Ahasja, och gömde undan Joas, Ahasjas son, och förde honom tillsammans med hans amma i hemlighet in i sovkammaren. Där höll man honom gömd för Atalja så att han inte blev dödad.

2 But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram[a] and sister of Ahaziah, took Joash(A) son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the royal princes, who were about to be murdered. She put him and his nurse in a bedroom to hide him from Athaliah; so he was not killed.(B)
