12 And what I am doing I will continue to do, so that I may eliminate any opportunity for those who want a chance to be regarded as our equals[a] in the things they boast about. 13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful[b] workers, disguising themselves[c] as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself[d] as an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves[e] as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.[f]

I want to contradict the claims of the people who want to be treated like they are the same as us because of what they brag about. 13 Such people are false apostles and dishonest workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 It is no great surprise then that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
