2 Chronicles 30:18-19

18 For a majority of the people, (A)many of them from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise (B)than as prescribed. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good Lord pardon everyone 19 (C)who sets his heart to seek God, the Lord, the God of his fathers, even though not according to the sanctuary's rules of cleanness.”[a]

18 Although most of the many people who came from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun had not purified themselves,(A) yet they ate the Passover, contrary to what was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, “May the Lord, who is good, pardon everyone 19 who sets their heart on seeking God—the Lord, the God of their ancestors—even if they are not clean according to the rules of the sanctuary.”
