2 Chronicles 32:24-26

²⁴^(A)In those days Hezekiah became ^[a]mortally ill; and he prayed to the Lord, and ^[b]the Lord spoke to him and gave him a sign. ²⁵But Hezekiah did nothing in return for the benefit ^[c]he received, ^(B)because his heart was ^[d]proud; ^(C)therefore wrath came upon him and upon Judah and Jerusalem. ²⁶However, ^(D)Hezekiah ^[e]humbled the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come on them in the days of Hezekiah.

Hezekiah Humbles Himself^(A)

²⁴^(B)In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death, and he prayed to the Lord; and He spoke to him and gave him a sign. ²⁵But Hezekiah ^(C)did not repay according to the favor shown him, for ^(D)his heart was lifted up; ^(E)therefore wrath was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem. ²⁶^(F)Then Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come upon them ^(G)in the days of Hezekiah.
