Young Joash Influenced by Jehoiada
24 Joash was seven years old when he became king, and he reigned for forty years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Zibiah from Beersheba. 2 Joash did what was right in the sight of the Lord all the days of Jehoiada the priest [his uncle]. 3 Jehoiada took two wives for him, and he fathered sons and daughters.
