2 Timothy 4:6-18

New American Standard Bible

⁶For I am already being ^(A)poured out as a drink offering, and the time of ^(B)my departure has come. ⁷^(C)I have fought the good fight, I have finished ^(D)the course, I have kept ^(E)the faith; ⁸in the future there ^(F)is reserved for me ^(G)the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on ^(H)that day; and not only to me, but also to ^(I)all who have loved His ^(J)appearing.

Personal Concerns

⁹^(K)Make every effort to come to me soon; ¹⁰for ^(L)Demas, having loved ^(M)this present ^[a]world, has deserted me and gone to ^(N)Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to ^[b]^(O)Galatia, ^(P)Titus to Dalmatia. ¹¹^(Q)Only ^(R)Luke is with me. Take along ^(S)Mark and bring him with you, ^(T)for he is useful to me for service. ¹²But I have sent ^(U)Tychicus to ^(V)Ephesus. ¹³When you come, bring the overcoat which I left at ^(W)Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments. ¹⁴^(X)Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; ^(Y)the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. ¹⁵Be on guard against him yourself too, for he vigorously opposed our ^[c]teaching.

¹⁶At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; ^(Z)may it not be counted against them. ¹⁷But the Lord stood with me and ^(AA)strengthened me, so that through me ^(AB)the proclamation might ^[d]be ^(AC)fully accomplished, and that all ^(AD)the Gentiles might hear; and I was ^(AE)rescued out of ^(AF)the lion’s mouth. ¹⁸The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will ^[e]^(AG)bring me safely to His ^(AH)heavenly kingdom; ^(AI)to ^[f]Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
