2 Timothy 3:8-12

⁸ Just as ^(A)Jannes and Jambres ^(B)opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, ^(C)men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith. ⁹ But they will not make further progress; for their ^(D)folly will be obvious to all, just ^(E)as ^[a]Jannes’s and Jambres’s folly was also.

¹⁰ Now you ^(F)followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, ^(G)love, ^[b]perseverance, ^11 (H)persecutions, and ^(I)sufferings, such as happened to me at ^(J)Antioch, at ^(K)Iconium and at ^(L)Lystra; what ^(M)persecutions I endured, and out of them all ^(N)the Lord rescued me! ¹² Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus ^(O)will be persecuted.
