Such women are always seeking instruction,[a] yet never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. And just as Jannes and Jambres[b] opposed Moses, so these people—who have warped minds and are disqualified in the faith[c]—also oppose the truth. But they will not go much further,[d] for their foolishness will be obvious to everyone, just like it was with Jannes and Jambres.[e]

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
