2 Timothy 1:7-12

⁷ for God gave us ^(A)a spirit not of fear but ^(B)of power and love and self-control.

⁸ Therefore ^(C)do not be ashamed of ^(D)the testimony about our Lord, nor of ^(E)me his prisoner, but ^(F)share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, ^9 (G)who saved us and ^(H)called us to^[a] a holy calling, ^(I)not because of our works but because of ^(J)his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus ^(K)before the ages began,^{[b] 10} and which now has ^(L)been manifested through ^(M)the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, ^(N)who abolished death and ^(O)brought life and ^(P)immortality to light through the gospel, ^11 (Q)for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher, ^12 (R)which is why I suffer as I do. But ^(S)I am not ashamed, for ^(T)I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until ^(U)that day ^(V)what has been entrusted to me.^[c]
