10 and which now has (A)been manifested through (B)the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, (C)who abolished death and (D)brought life and (E)immortality to light through the gospel, 11 (F)for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher, 12 (G)which is why I suffer as I do. But (H)I am not ashamed, for (I)I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until (J)that day (K)what has been entrusted to me.[a] 13 (L)Follow (M)the pattern of (N)the sound[b] words (O)that you have heard from me, in (P)the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 14 By the Holy Spirit (Q)who dwells within us, guard (R)the good deposit entrusted to you.

15 You are aware that (S)all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes. 16 May the Lord grant mercy to (T)the household of Onesiphorus, for he often (U)refreshed me and was not ashamed of (V)my chains, 17 but when he arrived in Rome (W)he searched for me earnestly and found me— 18 may the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on (X)that day!—and you well know all the service he (Y)rendered at Ephesus.
