who opposes and exalts himself above [a](A)every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, (B)displaying himself as being God. Do you not remember that (C)while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? And you know (D)what restrains him now, so that he will be revealed in his time. For (E)the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only [b](F)He who now restrains will do so until [c]He is [d]removed. Then that lawless one (G)will be revealed, whom the Lord will eliminate (H)with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the (I)appearance of His [e]coming; that is, the one whose [f]coming is in accord with the activity of (J)Satan, with all power and false [g](K)signs and wonders, 10 and with [h]all the deception of wickedness for (L)those who perish, because they did not accept the love of (M)the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason (N)God [i]will send upon them [j]a (O)deluding influence so that they will believe [k]what is false, 12 in order that they all may be [l]judged who (P)did not believe the truth, but [m](Q)took pleasure in wickedness.
