15 So then, brothers and sisters, (A)stand firm and (B)hold on to the traditions which you were taught, whether (C)by word of mouth or (D)by letter [a]from us.

16 (E)Now may our Lord Jesus Christ (F)Himself and God our Father, who has (G)loved us and given us eternal comfort and (H)good hope by grace, 17 (I)comfort and (J)strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.

Request for Prayer

(K)Finally, brothers and sisters, (L)pray for us that (M)the word of the Lord will [b]spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it was also with you; and that we will be (N)rescued from troublesome and evil people; for not all have the faith. But (O)the Lord is faithful, [c]and He will strengthen and protect you [d]from (P)the evil one. We have (Q)confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you (R)are doing, and will do, what we command. May the Lord (S)direct your hearts to the love of God and to the perseverance of Christ.
