⁸ And then ^(A)the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus ^(B)will kill with ^(C)the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by ^(D)the appearance of his coming.

²⁰ And the beast was captured, and with it ^(A)the false prophet ^(B)who in its presence^[a] had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who ^(C)worshiped its image. These two were ^(D)thrown alive into the lake of ^(E)fire that burns with sulfur. ²¹ And the rest were slain by the sword ^(F)that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and ^(G)all the birds were gorged with their flesh.

^3 (A)Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, ^(B)unless the rebellion comes first, and ^(C)the man of lawlessness^[a] is revealed, ^(D)the son of destruction,^[b]

¹⁰ and the devil ^(A)who had deceived them was ^(B)thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where ^(C)the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

¹¹ “I looked then because of the sound of ^(H)the great words that the horn was speaking. And as I looked, ^(I)the beast was killed, and its body destroyed ^(J)and given over to be burned with fire.

^15 (A)From his mouth comes a sharp sword ^(B)with which to strike down the nations, and ^(C)he will rule^[a] them with a rod of iron. ^(D)He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

^13 (A)waiting for our blessed ^(B)hope, the ^(C)appearing of the glory of our great ^(D)God and Savior Jesus Christ,

¹⁶ Therefore repent. If not, ^(A)I will come to you soon and ^(B)war against them with ^(C)the sword of my mouth.
