Nu förkunnar Herren för dig att Herren ska bygga ett hus[a] åt dig. 12 (A) När din tid är slut och du vilar hos dina fäder ska jag efter dig upphöja din avkomling[b] som ska utgå ur ditt liv, och jag ska befästa hans kungadöme. 13 (B) Han ska bygga ett hus åt mitt namn, och jag ska befästa hans kungatron för evigt.

11 (A)from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel. And (B)I will give you rest from all your enemies. Moreover, the Lord declares to you that (C)the Lord will make you a house. 12 (D)When your days are fulfilled and (E)you lie down with your fathers, (F)I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body,[a] and I will establish his kingdom. 13 (G)He shall build a house for my name, and (H)I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
