Nu kungör Herren att han ska bygga ett hus åt dig. 12 När dina dagar är till ända och du vilar hos dina förfäder, ska jag upphöja din avkomling[a] som skall utgå ur ditt liv på din tron, och jag ska befästa hans kungarike. 13 Han är den som ska bygga ett hus åt mitt namn och jag ska befästa hans tron för evigt.

11 (A)from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel. And (B)I will give you rest from all your enemies. Moreover, the Lord declares to you that (C)the Lord will make you a house. 12 (D)When your days are fulfilled and (E)you lie down with your fathers, (F)I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body,[a] and I will establish his kingdom. 13 (G)He shall build a house for my name, and (H)I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

12 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

“‘The Lord declares(C) to you that the Lord himself will establish(D) a house(E) for you: 12 When your days are over and you rest(F) with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood,(G) and I will establish his kingdom.(H) 13 He is the one who will build a house(I) for my Name,(J) and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.(K)
