12 (A)When your days are fulfilled and (B)you lie down with your fathers, (C)I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 (D)He shall build a house for my name, and (E)I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 (F)I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son.     I will set on your throne.
12 If your sons keep my covenant
    and my testimonies that I shall teach them,
their sons also forever
    shall (D)sit on your throne.”

13 For the Lord has (E)chosen Zion;

    here I will (H)dwell, for I have desired it.
15 I will abundantly (I)bless her provisions;
    I will (J)satisfy her poor with bread.
16 Her (K)priests I will clothe with salvation,
    and her (L)saints will shout for joy.
17 There I will make (M)a horn to sprout for David;
    I have prepared (N)a lamp for (O)my anointed.

    but on him his crown will shine.”
