³ The God of my strength, ^(A)in whom I will trust;
My ^(B)shield and the ^(C)horn^[a] of my salvation,
My ^(D)stronghold and my ^(E)refuge;
My Savior, You save me from violence.

²⁴ But ^(A)let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, ^[a]judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
^(B)For in these I delight,” says the Lord.

⁴ For You have been a strength to the poor,
A strength to the needy in his distress,
^(A)A refuge from the storm,
A shade from the heat;
For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
