16 At si Isbi-benob, na sa mga anak ng higante; na ang bigat ng sibat niya ay tatlong daang siklong tanso, na palibhasa'y nabibigkisan ng bagong tabak ay nagmunukalang patayin si David.
17 Nguni't sinaklolohan siya ni Abisai na anak ni Sarvia, at sinaktan ang Filisteo, at pinatay niya. Nang magkagayo'y nagsisumpa sa kaniya ang mga lalake ni David, na nangagsasabi, Hindi ka na lalabas pa na kasama namin sa pakikipagbaka, upang huwag mong patayin ang tanglaw ng Israel.
18 At nangyari, pagkatapos nito, na nagkaroon uli ng pakikidigma sa mga Filisteo sa Gob; nang magkagayo'y sinaktan ni Sibechai na Husathita si Saph, na sa mga anak ng higante.

New International Version
16 And Ishbi-Benob, one of the descendants of Rapha, whose bronze spearhead weighed three hundred shekels[a] and who was armed with a new sword, said he would kill David. 17 But Abishai(A) son of Zeruiah came to David’s rescue; he struck the Philistine down and killed him. Then David’s men swore to him, saying, “Never again will you go out with us to battle, so that the lamp(B) of Israel will not be extinguished.(C)”
18 In the course of time, there was another battle with the Philistines, at Gob. At that time Sibbekai(D) the Hushathite killed Saph, one of the descendants of Rapha.
