^18 (A)and he told them to teach the children of Judah the Song of the Bow; indeed it is written ^(B)in the Book ^[a]of Jasher:

¹⁸ The sons of Reuben, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh had forty-four thousand seven hundred and sixty valiant men, men able to bear shield and sword, to shoot with the bow, and skillful in war, who went to war.

² armed with bows, using both the right hand and ^(A)the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows with the bow. They were of Benjamin, Saul’s brethren.

¹⁴ Then Uzziah prepared for them, for the entire army, shields, spears, helmets, body armor, bows, and slings to cast stones.
