¹⁴ And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment.^[a]

¹⁸ But Samuel, though he was only a boy, served the Lord. He wore a linen garment like that of a priest.^[a]

²⁰ Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine and led all the women as they played their tambourines and danced.

³⁴ When Jephthah returned home to Mizpah, his daughter came out to meet him, playing on a tambourine and dancing for joy. She was his one and only child; he had no other sons or daughters.
