² Let the redeemed^(A) of the Lord tell their story—
    those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,

¹⁷ The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears^(A) them;
    he delivers them from all their troubles.

⁶ This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
    he saved him out of all his troubles.^(A)
7 The angel of the Lord^(B) encamps around those who fear him,
    and he delivers^(C) them.

¹⁶ the Angel^(A) who has delivered me from all harm^(B)
    —may he bless^(C) these boys.^(D)
May they be called by my name
    and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac,^(E)
and may they increase greatly
    on the earth.”^(F)

²³ My lips will shout for joy^(A)
    when I sing praise to you—
    I whom you have delivered.^(B)

²² The Lord will rescue^(A) his servants;
    no one who takes refuge^(B) in him will be condemned.
