² Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
    those he redeemed from trouble^(A)

¹⁷ When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears
    and rescues them from all their troubles.^(A)

⁶ This poor soul cried and was heard by the Lord
    and was saved from every trouble.
⁷ The angel of the Lord encamps
    around those who fear him and delivers them.^(A)

¹⁶ the angel who has redeemed me from all harm, bless the boys,
and in them let my name be perpetuated and the name of my ancestors Abraham and Isaac,
and let them grow into a multitude on the earth.”^(A)

⁴ who redeems your life from the Pit,
    who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,^(A)

²³ My lips will shout for joy
    when I sing praises to you;
    my soul also, which you have rescued.^(A)

²² The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
    none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.^(A)

⁵ Into your hand I commit my spirit;
    you have redeemed me, O Lord, faithful God.^(A)
