¹⁹ So Asahel pursued Abner, and in going he did not turn to the right hand or to the left from following Abner.

² And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the ways of his father David; he ^(A)did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

²¹ And Abner said to him, “Turn aside to your right hand or to your left, and lay hold on one of the young men and take his armor for yourself.” But Asahel would not turn aside from following him.

^6 (A)Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, ^(B)lest you turn aside from it to the right hand or to the left,

⁷ Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law ^(A)which Moses My servant commanded you; ^(B)do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may ^[a]prosper wherever you go.
