Absalom Enters Jerusalem

^15 (A)Now Absalom and all the people, the men of Israel, came to Jerusalem, and Ahithophel with him.

³⁷ So Hushai, ^(A)David's friend, came into the city, ^(B)just as Absalom was entering Jerusalem.

¹² And while Absalom was offering the sacrifices, he sent for^{[a] (A)}Ahithophel the Gilonite, ^(B)David's counselor, from his city ^(C)Giloh. And the conspiracy grew strong, and the people with Absalom ^(D)kept increasing.
