Hushai Becomes David’s Spy

³² When David came to the summit, where God was worshiped, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat torn and earth on his head.^(A)

² then going from Bethel to Luz, it passes along to Ataroth, the territory of the Archites;^(A)

² On the third day, a man came from Saul’s camp with his clothes torn and dirt on his head. When he came to David, he fell to the ground and did obeisance.^(A)
