⁸ Then David said to Uriah, “Go down to your house and wash your feet.” Uriah went out of the king’s house, and there followed him a present from the king.^(A)

⁴ Let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree.^(A)

¹³ And before him no creature is hidden, but all are naked and laid bare to the eyes of the one to whom we must render an account.^(A)

² Nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered and nothing secret that will not become known.^(A)

⁴⁴ Then turning toward the woman, he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has bathed my feet with her tears and dried them with her hair.^(A)

³⁴ Portions were taken to them from Joseph’s table, but Benjamin’s portion was five times as much as any of theirs. So they drank and were merry with him.^(A)
