⁷ When Uriah had come to him, David asked how Joab was doing, and how the people were doing, and how the war prospered.

²² And David left his supplies in the hand of the supply keeper, ran to the army, and came and greeted his brothers.

¹⁴ Then he said to him, “Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks, and bring back word to me.” So he sent him out of the Valley of ^(A)Hebron, and he went to Shechem.

⁶ So he said to them, ^(A)“Is he well?”

And they said, “He is well. And look, his daughter Rachel ^(B)is coming with the sheep.”
