Reinado de Manasés
21 (A)Manasés tenía doce años cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó cincuenta y cinco años en Jerusalén. El nombre de su madre era Hepsiba. 2 E hizo lo malo(B) ante los ojos del Señor, conforme a las abominaciones de las naciones que el Señor había desposeído delante de los hijos de Israel(C). 3 Porque reedificó los lugares altos que su padre Ezequías había destruido(D); levantó también altares a Baal e hizo una Asera[a], como había hecho Acab, rey de Israel(E), y adoró a todo el ejército de los cielos y los sirvió(F). 4 Edificó además altares en la casa del Señor(G), de la cual el Señor había dicho: En Jerusalén pondré mi nombre(H). 5 Edificó altares a todo el ejército de los cielos(I) en los dos atrios de la casa del Señor(J). 6 Hizo pasar por fuego a su hijo, practicó la hechicería, usó la adivinación(K) y trató con médium y espiritistas. Hizo mucho mal ante los ojos del Señor, provocándole a ira(L). 7 Colocó la imagen tallada de Asera que él había hecho, en la casa(M) de la cual el Señor había dicho a David y a su hijo Salomón: En esta casa y en Jerusalén, que he escogido de entre todas las tribus de Israel, pondré mi nombre para siempre(N). 8 Y haré que nunca más los pies de Israel vaguen fuera de la tierra que di a sus padres, con tal de que cuiden de hacer conforme a todo lo que les he mandado, y conforme a toda la ley que mi siervo Moisés les ordenó(O). 9 Pero ellos no escucharon, y Manasés los hizo extraviar para que hicieran lo malo(P) más que las naciones que el Señor había destruido delante de los hijos de Israel.
10 Y habló el Señor por medio[b] de sus siervos los profetas, diciendo: 11 Por cuanto Manasés, rey de Judá, ha hecho estas abominaciones(Q), habiendo hecho lo malo más que todo lo que hicieron los amorreos antes de él(R), haciendo pecar también a Judá(S) con sus ídolos(T); 12 por tanto, así dice el Señor, Dios de Israel: «He aquí, voy a traer tal calamidad sobre Jerusalén y Judá, que a todo el que oiga de ello le retiñirán ambos oídos(U). 13 Extenderé sobre Jerusalén el cordel de Samaria y la plomada(V) de la casa de Acab, y limpiaré a Jerusalén como se limpia un plato, limpiándolo y volviéndolo boca abajo. 14 Abandonaré al remanente de mi heredad y los entregaré en mano de sus enemigos, y serán para presa y despojo para todos sus enemigos; 15 porque han hecho lo malo ante mis ojos, y han estado provocándome a ira desde el día en que sus padres salieron de Egipto, hasta el día de hoy».
16 Además, Manasés derramó muchísima sangre inocente hasta llenar a Jerusalén(W) de un extremo a otro, aparte de su pecado con el que hizo pecar a Judá para que hiciera lo malo ante los ojos del Señor(X). 17 Los demás hechos de Manasés(Y), todo lo que hizo y el pecado que cometió[c], ¿no están escritos en el libro de las Crónicas de los reyes de Judá? 18 Y durmió Manasés con sus padres, y fue sepultado en el jardín[d] de su casa, en el jardín[e] de Uza; y su hijo Amón reinó en su lugar(Z).
Reinado de Amón
19 (AA)Amón tenía veintidós años cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó dos años en Jerusalén. El nombre de su madre era Mesulemet, hija de Haruz, de Jotba. 20 E hizo lo malo ante los ojos del Señor, como había hecho su padre Manasés(AB). 21 Pues anduvo en todo el camino en que su padre había andado, sirvió a los ídolos a los que su padre había servido y los adoró. 22 Y abandonó al Señor, el Dios de sus padres, y no anduvo en el camino del Señor(AC). 23 Y conspiraron contra él los siervos de Amón y mataron al rey en su casa(AD). 24 Pero el pueblo de la tierra mató[f] a todos los que habían conspirado contra el rey(AE) Amón, y en su lugar el pueblo de la tierra hizo rey a su hijo Josías. 25 Los demás hechos que Amón hizo, ¿no están escritos en el libro de las Crónicas de los reyes de Judá? 26 Y fue sepultado en su sepulcro en el jardín[g] de Uza; y su hijo Josías reinó en su lugar(AF).

Ang Paghahari ni Manase sa Juda(A)
21 Si Manase ay 12 taong gulang nang maging hari ng Juda. Sa Jerusalem siya tumira, at naghari siya roon sa loob ng 55 taon. Ang ina niya ay si Hefziba. 2 Masama ang ginawa niya sa paningin ng Panginoon. Sumunod siya sa kasuklam-suklam na gawain ng mga bansang pinalayas ng Panginoon sa pamamagitan ng mga Israelita. 3 Muli niyang ipinatayo ang mga sambahan sa matataas na lugar[a] na ipinagiba ng ama niyang si Hezekia. Ipinatayo rin niya ang mga altar para kay Baal at nagpagawa ng posteng simbolo ng diosang si Ashera, tulad ng ipinagawa ni Haring Ahab ng Israel. Sumamba siya sa lahat ng bagay na nasa langit. 4 Nagpagawa pa siya ng mga altar sa templo ng Panginoon sa Jerusalem, ang lugar na sinabi ng Panginoon na pararangalan siya. 5 Inilagay niya ang mga altar sa magkabilang panig ng bakuran ng templo ng Panginoon para sambahin ang lahat ng bagay sa langit. 6 Inihandog pa niya ang sarili niyang anak sa apoy. Ginawa rin niya ang mga ginagawa ng mga mangkukulam at mga manghuhula, at nagtatanong siya sa mga espiritista na nakikipag-usap sa kaluluwa ng patay. Labis ang pagkakasala ni Manase na nakapagpagalit sa Panginoon. 7 Ang ipinagawa niya na posteng simbolo ng diosang si Ashera ay inilagay niya sa templo, ang lugar kung saan sinabi ng Panginoon kay David at sa anak nitong si Solomon, “Pararangalan ako habang buhay sa templong ito at sa Jerusalem, ang lugar na pinili ko sa lahat ng lahi ng Israel. 8 Kung tutuparin lang ng mamamayan ng Israel ang lahat ng kautusan na ibinigay ko sa kanila sa pamamagitan ng lingkod kong si Moises, hindi ko papayagang palayasin sila sa lupaing ito na ibinigay ko sa mga ninuno nila.” 9 Pero ayaw makinig ng mga tao. Inudyukan sila ni Manase sa paggawa ng masasama at ang ginawa nila ay mas masama pa kaysa sa ginawa ng mga bansang nilipol ng Panginoon sa pamamagitan ng mga Israelita.
10 Sinabi ng Panginoon sa pamamagitan ng mga lingkod niyang propeta: 11 “Gumawa si Haring Manase ng Juda ng mga kasuklam-suklam na gawain, na mas masama pa kaysa sa ginawa ng mga Ammonitang nakatira sa lupaing ito bago dumating ang mga Israelita. Inudyukan niya ang mga taga-Juda sa pagkakasala sa pamamagitan ng pagsamba sa mga dios-diosan niya. 12 Kaya ako, ang Panginoon na Dios ng Israel, ay magpapadala ng kapahamakan sa Jerusalem at sa Juda, at ang bawat isa na makakarinig nito ay matatakot. 13 Hahatulan ko ang Jerusalem katulad nang paghatol ko sa Samaria at sa sambahayan ni Haring Ahab. Lilinisin ko ang Jerusalem tulad ng pinggan na pinunasan at itinaob. 14 Itatakwil ko kahit pa ang natira sa aking mga mamamayan at ibibigay ko sila sa mga kaaway nila bilang bihag. 15 Mangyayari ito sa kanila dahil masama ang ginawa nila sa paningin ko at ginalit nila ako, mula pa nang lumabas ang mga ninuno nila sa Egipto hanggang ngayon.”
16 Maraming inosenteng tao ang pinatay ni Manase hanggang sa dumanak ang dugo sa mga daanan ng Jerusalem. Hindi pa kabilang dito ang kasalanan na ginawa niya na naging dahilan ng pagkakasala ng mga taga-Juda sa paningin ng Panginoon.
17 Ang iba pang salaysay tungkol sa paghahari ni Manase, at lahat ng ginawa niya, pati ang mga kasalanan na ginawa niya ay nakasulat sa Aklat ng Kasaysayan ng mga hari ng Juda.
18 Nang mamatay si Manase, inilibing siya sa hardin ng kanyang palasyo, na tinatawag na Uza. At ang anak niyang si Ammon ang pumalit sa kanya bilang hari.
Ang Paghahari ni Ammon sa Juda(B)
19 Si Ammon ay 22 taong gulang nang maging hari ng Juda. Sa Jerusalem siya tumira, at naghari siya roon sa loob ng dalawang taon. Ang ina niya ay si Mesulemet na taga-Jotba at anak ni Haruz. 20 Masama ang ginawa ni Ammon sa paningin ng Panginoon, katulad ng ginawa ni Manase na kanyang ama. 21 Sinunod niya ang pamumuhay ng kanyang ama. Sinamba niya ang mga dios-diosan na sinasamba nito 22 at itinakwil niya ang Panginoon, ang Dios ng mga ninuno niya. Hindi niya sinunod ang pamamaraan ng Panginoon. 23 Nagplano ng masama ang mga opisyal ni Ammon laban sa kanya at pinatay siya sa palasyo niya. 24 Pero pinatay ng mamamayan ng Juda ang lahat ng pumatay kay Haring Ammon. At ang anak niyang si Josia ang ipinalit nila bilang hari.
25 Ang iba pang salaysay tungkol sa paghahari ni Ammon, at lahat ng ginawa niya ay nakasulat sa Aklat ng Kasaysayan ng mga hari ng Juda. 26 Inilibing si Ammon sa libingan niya sa hardin na tinatawag na Uza. At ang anak niyang si Josia ang pumalit sa kanya bilang hari.

21 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.
2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.
3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.
6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
7 And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the Lord said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8 Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
9 But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel.
10 And the Lord spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
11 Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
12 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
14 And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
15 Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord.
17 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
18 And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
19 Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
20 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, as his father Manasseh did.
21 And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
22 And he forsook the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.
23 And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
24 And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
25 Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
26 And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
