8 Entonces el Rabsaces volvió y halló al rey de Asiria peleando contra Libna(A), pues había oído que el rey había partido de Laquis(B). 9 Y les oyó decir acerca de Tirhaca, rey de Cus[a]: «Ha salido a pelear contra ti». Entonces envió de nuevo mensajeros a Ezequías, diciendo: 10 «Así dirán a Ezequías, rey de Judá: “No te engañe tu Dios en quien tú confías(C), diciendo: ‘Jerusalén no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria(D)’.

New International Version
8 When the field commander heard that the king of Assyria had left Lachish,(A) he withdrew and found the king fighting against Libnah.(B)
9 Now Sennacherib received a report that Tirhakah, the king of Cush,[a] was marching out to fight against him. So he again sent messengers to Hezekiah with this word: 10 “Say to Hezekiah king of Judah: Do not let the god you depend(C) on deceive(D) you when he says, ‘Jerusalem will not be given into the hands of the king of Assyria.’

8 So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.
9 And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah, saying,
10 Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
