2 Poutèt nou konnen Bondye ak Jezi, Senyè nou an, se pou yo ban nou gras ak lapè an abondans.
Li te fè nou konnen moun ki te rele nou an, pou fè n patisipe nan glwa ak nan bonte li. 4 Konsa, Bondye fè n anpil gwo pwomès ki gen anpil valè. Pwomès sa yo ede n kite tout vye kòripsyon ki nan lemonn, pou n vin patisipe nan nati Bondye li menm.
5 Poutèt nou genyen benediksyon sa yo, an n fè tout sa n kapab pou n mete bagay sa yo nan lavi nou: mete bon konduit sou lafwa nou; mete konesans sou bon konduit nou; 6 mete ladrès nan kontwole tèt nou sou konesans nou; mete pasyans sou ladrès nan kontwole tèt nou; mete devouman pou Bondye sou pasyans nou; 7 mete jantiyès pou frè ak sè an Kris yo sou devouman nou pou Bondye; epi mete lanmou sou jantiyès nou pou frè ak sè an Kris yo. 8 Lè n gen bagay sa yo nan lavi nou, lè y ap ogmante detanzantan, nou p ap janm tonbe nan pwen pou n ta vin pa itil Bondye ankò. N ap pote fwi ki soti nan konesans Jezikris, Senyè nou an. 9 Men, moun ki pa grandi nan domèn sa yo, yo avèg. Yo pa wè klè sa yo genyen. Yo bliye Bondye te netwaye peche yo te genyen yo.
10 Poutèt sa, frè ak sè m yo, fè jefò pi plis pou nou ka konfime apèl ak chwa Bondye te fè pou nou an. Si nou fè sa konsa, nou p ap janm tonbe. 11 Wi, Bondye va louvri Wayòm ki p ap fini an byen laj pou nou, Wayòm Jezikris, Sovè ak Senyè nou an.

Haitian Creole Version
1 ¶ Mwen menm, Simon Pyè, sèvitè ak apòt Jezikri, m'ap ekri lèt sa a pou nou menm ki resevwa yon konfyans ki gen menm valè ak pa m' lan, gremesi Jezikri, Bondye nou ak Sovè nou ki fè nou gras.
2 M'ap mande Bondye pou nou resevwa anpil benediksyon ak kè poze, gremesi konesans Bondye ak Jezikri, Seyè nou an, nou genyen.
11 Konsa, la ban nou dwa antre lib nan peyi kote Jezikri, Seyè nou ak Sovè nou an, ap gouvènen tankou wa pou tout tan an.
Nou menm tou nou byen fèt lè nou pran pawòl sa yo ak gwo konsiderasyon, tankou yon lanp k'ap klere nan fènwa a jouk jou a va pwente, jouk zetwal ki klere chak maten an va leve nan kè nou.
2 Peter 1
King James Version
1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
15 Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
2 Peter 1
New International Version
1 Simon Peter, a servant(A) and apostle of Jesus Christ,(B)
To those who through the righteousness(C) of our God and Savior Jesus Christ(D) have received a faith as precious as ours:
2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance(E) through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.(F)
Confirming One’s Calling and Election
3 His divine power(G) has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him(H) who called us(I) by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises,(J) so that through them you may participate in the divine nature,(K) having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.(L)
5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;(M) 6 and to knowledge, self-control;(N) and to self-control, perseverance;(O) and to perseverance, godliness;(P) 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.(Q) 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive(R) in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.(S) 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind,(T) forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.(U)
10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters,[a] make every effort to confirm your calling(V) and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,(W) 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom(X) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.(Y)
Prophecy of Scripture
12 So I will always remind you of these things,(Z) even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth(AA) you now have. 13 I think it is right to refresh your memory(AB) as long as I live in the tent of this body,(AC) 14 because I know that I will soon put it aside,(AD) as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.(AE) 15 And I will make every effort to see that after my departure(AF) you will always be able to remember these things.
16 For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power,(AG) but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.(AH) 17 He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”[b](AI) 18 We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.(AJ)
19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable,(AK) and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light(AL) shining in a dark place, until the day dawns(AM) and the morning star(AN) rises in your hearts.(AO) 20 Above all, you must understand(AP) that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God(AQ) as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.(AR)
