2 Many will follow their (A)indecent behavior, and because of them (B)the way of the truth will be (C)maligned; 3 and in their (D)greed they will (E)exploit you with (F)false words; (G)their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
4 For (H)if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into [a]hell and (I)committed them to [b]pits of darkness, held for judgment;

2 Many will follow their depraved conduct(A) and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed(B) these teachers will exploit you(C) with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned,(D) but sent them to hell,[a] putting them in chains of darkness[b] to be held for judgment;(E)
