⁴ Through ^[a]these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent ^(A)promises, so that by them you may become ^(B)partakers of the divine nature, having ^(C)escaped the ^(D)corruption that is in ^(E)the world on account of lust.

¹² Therefore, ^(A)I will always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you already know them and have been established in ^(B)the truth which is present with you. ¹³ I consider it ^(C)right, as long as I am in ^(D)this earthly ^[a]dwelling, to ^(E)stir you up by way of reminder,

⁵ even when we were ^(A)dead ^[a]in our wrongdoings, made us alive together ^[b]with Christ (^(B)by grace you have been saved), ⁶ and ^(C)raised us up with Him, and ^(D)seated us with Him in ^(E)the heavenly places in ^(F)Christ Jesus,
