Peter’s Approaching Death

¹² For this reason ^(A)I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, ^(B)though you know and are established in the present truth.

²¹ I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

All for Christ

3 Finally, my brethren, ^(A)rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.

From Jerusalem to Illyricum

¹⁴ Now ^(A)I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, ^(B)filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish ^[a]one another. ¹⁵ Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, ^(C)because of the grace given to me by God,

^7 (A)rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding ^[a]in it with thanksgiving.

Old and New Apostates

⁵ But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that ^(A)the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.

² because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever:

¹³ Yes, I think it is right, ^(A)as long as I am in this ^[a]tent, ^(B)to stir you up by reminding you,

^17 (A)But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Contend for the Faith

³ Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you ^(A)concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting ^(B)you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
