7 pero los cielos que son ahora, y la tierra, son conservados por la misma Palabra, guardados para el fuego en el día del juicio, y de la perdición de los hombres impíos.
8 ¶ Mas, oh amados, no ignoréis una cosa: y es que un día delante del Señor es como mil años y mil años son como un día.

6 By these waters also the world of that time(A) was deluged and destroyed.(B) 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire,(C) being kept for the day of judgment(D) and destruction of the ungodly.
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.(E)
