15 ¶ Lè sa a, Moyiz ak moun pèp Izrayèl yo chante yon chante pou Seyè a. Men sa chante a di: -M'ap chante pou Seyè a, paske li genyen batay la. Li voye chwal yo ak tout kavalye yo jete nan lanmè.
2 Seyè a, se tout fòs mwen. Se pou li m'ap chante. Se li menm ki delivre m'. Se Bondye mwen li ye, m'ap fè lwanj li. Se Bondye zansèt mwen yo, m'ap di jan li gen pouvwa.
3 Seyè a, se yon vanyan sòlda. Se Seyè yo rele l'.
4 Li voye cha farawon yo ansanm ak tout lame l' a jete nan lanmè. Li fè pi bon sòlda li yo mouri neye nan lanmè Wouj la.
5 Lanm lanmè a kouvri yo. Yo fè fon tankou ròch.
6 Seyè, fòs bra dwat ou se kokenn zafè! Seyè, fòs bra dwat ou kraze lènmi an!
7 Jan ou gen anpil pouvwa sa a, Seyè! Ou kraze moun k'ap goumen avè ou yo. Ou fè yon sèl kòlè, ou boule yo tankou dife nan pay.
8 Nan kolè ou, ou soufle. Souf ou fè dlo a ranmase kò l'. Lanm yo kanpe dwat tankou yon miray. Dlo a vin di nan mitan lanmè a.
9 Lènmi an te di: M'ap kouri dèyè yo, m'ap pran yo. M'ap separe tout richès yo, m'ap pran tou sa m' vle. M'ap rale nepe mwen, avèk fòs ponyèt mwen, m'ap disparèt yo.
10 Ou annik fè yon ti van leve, lanmè a kouvri yo. Lanmè a te move, yo desann nan fon tankou plon.
11 Seyè, nan tout bondye yo, kilès ki tankou ou! Pouvwa ou fè yo respekte ou! Ou se Bondye ki apa nèt! Kilès ki tankou ou? Ou menm ki fè mirak, ou menm ki fè mèvèy pou fè moun pè! Kilès ki tankou ou?
12 Ou annik lonje men dwat ou, tè a vale yo tou vivan.
13 Paske ou gen bon kè, ou mennen pèp ou delivre a, avèk fòs ponyèt ou, ou mennen yo nan peyi ki apa pou ou a.
14 Lòt pèp yo pran nouvèl sa ki pase, yo pran tranble tèlman yo pè. Yon sèl vant fè mal pran moun Filisti yo.
15 Ata chèf peyi Edon yo te pè anpil. Vanyan gason peyi Moab yo pran tranble. Tout moun nan peyi Kanaran pèdi kouraj.
16 Yon sèl kè kase, yon sèl sezisman pran yo. Avèk fòs ponyèt ou, ou fè yo rete rèd san yo pa kapab fè anyen. Ou fè yo rete konsa jouk pèp ou a fin pase, Seyè, wi, jouk pèp ou delivre a fin pase!
17 Wa mennen yo, w'a plante yo sou mòn ki pou ou a, Seyè, sou mòn kote ou pare pou kay ou a, kay ou bati pou ou a, Seyè.
18 Seyè a ap gouvènen pou tout tan.
19 Chwal farawon yo ansanm ak tout cha ak kavalye yo te tonbe nan lanmè. Seyè a fè dlo a tounen nan plas li. Dlo a kouvri yo tout. Men, moun pèp Izrayèl yo menm te mache nan fon lanmè a tankou sou tè sèk.
20 Miryam, sè Arawon an, te yon pwofèt. Li pran yon tanbouren nan men l', tout medam yo t'ap mache dèyè l', yo t'ap bat tanbouren, yo t'ap danse.
21 Miryam t'ap chante pou yo, li t'ap di moun pèp Izrayèl yo: Annou chante pou Seyè a! Paske li genyen yon bèl batay! Li voye chwal yo jete nan fon lanmè ak tout kavalye yo sou yo.
22 ¶ Moyiz fè moun Izrayèl yo pati kite bò lanmè Wouj la. Yo mete tèt yo sou bò dezè Chou a. Yo t'ap mache depi twa jou nan dezè a san yo pa jwenn gout dlo pou yo bwè.
23 Yo rive yon kote ki rele Mara. Men, yo pa t' kapab bwè dlo ki te la a, paske li te twò anmè. Se poutèt sa yo rele kote a Mara.
24 Pèp la pran bougonnen sou do Moyiz nan dezè a. Yo mande l': -Atò, kisa pou nou bwè koulye a?
25 Moyiz rele Seyè a, li lapriyè nan pye l'. Seyè a moutre l' yon kalite pyebwa. Moyiz lage branch bwa a nan dlo a, dlo a vin dous. Se la Seyè a te ba yo lòd ak regleman pou yo swiv. Se la li t'ap chache sonde yo.
26 Li di yo: -Se mwen menm ki Seyè a, Bondye nou an. Si nou koute m' lè m' pale nou, si nou fè tout sa ki dwat devan mwen, si nou louvri zòrèy nou pou swiv kòmandman mwen yo, pou nou kenbe lòd mwen ban nou, mwen p'ap voye malè sou nou, jan mwen te fè moun peyi Lejip yo. Se mwen menm, Seyè a, k'ap geri nou.
27 Apre sa, yo rive Elim, yon kote ki te gen douz sous dlo ak swasanndis pye dat. Yo rete la, yo moute tant yo bò dlo a.

Das Lied Moses
15 Damals sangen Mose und die Israeliten dieses Lied zu Ehren des Herrn:
»Ich will dem Herrn singen, denn er ist mächtig und erhaben,
Pferde und Reiter warf er ins Meer!
2 Der Herr ist meine Rettung und Kraft,
er lässt mich fröhlich singen.
Er ist mein Gott, ihn will ich preisen!
Er ist der Gott meines Vaters, ihn allein will ich ehren.
3 Der Herr ist ein mächtiger Kämpfer;
sein Name ist ›der Herr‹[a].
4 Die Streitwagen des Pharaos und sein Heer hat er ins Meer geschleudert.
Die besten Wagenkämpfer ließ er im Schilfmeer ertrinken.
5 Wasserfluten haben sie bedeckt,
wie Steine sind sie in der Tiefe versunken.
6 Herr, deine Hand tut große Wunder,
ja, deine gewaltige Hand zerschmettert den Feind!
7 Du bist mächtig und erhaben.
Du stürzt diejenigen zu Boden, die sich gegen dich erheben.
Dein glühender Zorn trifft sie und verbrennt sie wie Stroh.
8 Zornerfüllt hast du aufs Meer geblasen,
da türmten sich die Wassermassen,
die Fluten standen wie ein Wall,
die Meerestiefen wie eine Mauer!
9 Der Feind prahlte: ›Los, wir verfolgen sie!
Wir holen sie ein und machen reiche Beute!
Jeder bekommt, was er haben will.
Wir ziehen das Schwert und zwingen sie in die Knie!‹
10 Aber als dein Atem blies, verschlang sie das Meer.
Wie Blei versanken sie in den mächtigen Wogen.
11 Herr, wer unter allen Göttern ist dir gleich?
Wer ist wie du, herrlich und heilig?
Wer vollbringt so große, furchterregende Taten?
Wer tut Wunder – so wie du?
12 Als du deinen rechten Arm ausstrecktest,
verschlang die Erde unsere Feinde.
13 Voller Liebe führst du uns, dein Volk, das du gerettet hast!
Mit großer Macht leitest du uns
bis zu dem heiligen Ort, an dem du wohnst.
14 Wenn die anderen Völker hören, was geschehen ist, erschrecken sie.
Angst überfällt die Philister,
15 und die Fürsten Edoms sind entsetzt.
Moabs Herrscher fangen an zu zittern,
und die Bewohner Kanaans verlieren allen Mut.
16 Furcht und Schrecken packt sie.
Sie sehen deine große Macht, Herr, und stehen wie versteinert da,
bis dein Volk vorbeigezogen ist, ja, bis das Volk, das du freigekauft hast, vorbeigezogen ist!
17 Du bringst sie zu deinem Berg und pflanzt sie dort ein,
an dem Ort, den du dir als Wohnung gewählt hast.
Dort ist dein Heiligtum, o Herr,
das du mit eigener Hand errichtet hast!
18 Der Herr ist König für immer und ewig!«
19 Die Soldaten des Pharaos waren den Israeliten mit Pferden und Streitwagen ins Meer gefolgt. Da hatte der Herr das Wasser zurückfluten lassen, und die Wogen hatten sie verschlungen. Die Israeliten aber waren trockenen Fußes mitten durchs Meer gezogen. 20 Die Prophetin Mirjam, Aarons Schwester, nahm ihr Tamburin zur Hand. Auch die anderen Frauen schlugen ihr Tamburin, und zusammen tanzten sie im Reigen. 21 Mirjam sang ihnen vor:
»Singt dem Herrn, denn er ist mächtig und erhaben!
Pferde und Reiter warf er ins Meer!«
Auf dem Weg zum Berg Sinai (Kapitel 15,22–18,27)
Ich bin der Herr, der euch heilt!
22 Mose ließ die Israeliten vom Schilfmeer aufbrechen. Sie zogen los und kamen in die Wüste Schur. Drei Tage lang waren sie hier unterwegs, ohne Wasser zu finden. 23 Als sie endlich die Oase von Mara erreichten, war das Wasser dort so bitter, dass sie es nicht trinken konnten. Darum heißt dieser Ort Mara (»Bitterkeit«).
24 »Was sollen wir nun trinken?«, fragten die Leute Mose vorwurfsvoll. 25 Mose flehte den Herrn um Hilfe an, und der Herr zeigte ihm ein Stück Holz. Als Mose es ins Wasser warf, wurde das Wasser genießbar.
In Mara gab Gott seinem Volk Gesetze und Regeln, nach denen sie leben sollten, und stellte sie auf die Probe. 26 Er sagte zu ihnen: »Hört auf mich, den Herrn, euren Gott, und lebt so, wie es mir gefällt! Haltet euch an meine Gebote und Weisungen! Wenn ihr das tut, werdet ihr keine der Krankheiten bekommen, mit denen ich die Ägypter bestraft habe. Denn ich bin der Herr, der euch heilt!«
27 Dann brachen die Israeliten wieder auf und erreichten Elim, eine Oase mit zwölf Quellen und siebzig Palmen. Dort schlugen sie ihr Lager auf.

15 Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song(A) to the Lord:
“I will sing(B) to the Lord,
for he is highly exalted.
Both horse and driver(C)
he has hurled into the sea.(D)
2 “The Lord is my strength(E) and my defense[a];
he has become my salvation.(F)
He is my God,(G) and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt(H) him.
3 The Lord is a warrior;(I)
the Lord is his name.(J)
4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his army(K)
he has hurled into the sea.
The best of Pharaoh’s officers
are drowned in the Red Sea.[b]
5 The deep waters(L) have covered them;
they sank to the depths like a stone.(M)
6 Your right hand,(N) Lord,
was majestic in power.
Your right hand,(O) Lord,
shattered(P) the enemy.
7 “In the greatness of your majesty(Q)
you threw down those who opposed you.
You unleashed your burning anger;(R)
it consumed(S) them like stubble.
8 By the blast of your nostrils(T)
the waters piled up.(U)
The surging waters stood up like a wall;(V)
the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea.(W)
9 The enemy boasted,
‘I will pursue,(X) I will overtake them.
I will divide the spoils;(Y)
I will gorge myself on them.
I will draw my sword
and my hand will destroy them.’
10 But you blew with your breath,(Z)
and the sea covered them.
They sank like lead
in the mighty waters.(AA)
11 Who among the gods
is like you,(AB) Lord?
Who is like you—
majestic in holiness,(AC)
awesome in glory,(AD)
working wonders?(AE)
12 “You stretch out(AF) your right hand,
and the earth swallows your enemies.(AG)
13 In your unfailing love you will lead(AH)
the people you have redeemed.(AI)
In your strength you will guide them
to your holy dwelling.(AJ)
14 The nations will hear and tremble;(AK)
anguish(AL) will grip the people of Philistia.(AM)
15 The chiefs(AN) of Edom(AO) will be terrified,
the leaders of Moab will be seized with trembling,(AP)
the people[c] of Canaan will melt(AQ) away;
16 terror(AR) and dread will fall on them.
By the power of your arm
they will be as still as a stone(AS)—
until your people pass by, Lord,
until the people you bought[d](AT) pass by.(AU)
17 You will bring(AV) them in and plant(AW) them
on the mountain(AX) of your inheritance—
the place, Lord, you made for your dwelling,(AY)
the sanctuary,(AZ) Lord, your hands established.
18 “The Lord reigns
for ever and ever.”(BA)
19 When Pharaoh’s horses, chariots and horsemen[e] went into the sea,(BB) the Lord brought the waters of the sea back over them, but the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground.(BC) 20 Then Miriam(BD) the prophet,(BE) Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels(BF) and dancing.(BG) 21 Miriam sang(BH) to them:
“Sing to the Lord,
for he is highly exalted.
Both horse and driver(BI)
he has hurled into the sea.”(BJ)
The Waters of Marah and Elim
22 Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert(BK) of Shur.(BL) For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water.(BM) 23 When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.[f](BN)) 24 So the people grumbled(BO) against Moses, saying, “What are we to drink?”(BP)
25 Then Moses cried out(BQ) to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw(BR) it into the water, and the water became fit to drink.
There the Lord issued a ruling and instruction for them and put them to the test.(BS) 26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep(BT) all his decrees,(BU) I will not bring on you any of the diseases(BV) I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals(BW) you.”
27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped(BX) there near the water.
