¹⁰ We will now report about what occurred under Antiochus Eupator, that ungodly man’s son, summarizing the distressful events of the dreadful wars. ¹¹ When this man received the kingdom, he appointed a certain Lysias as supreme governor of Coele-Syria and Phoenicia.
