8 Han gjorde också det allra heligaste. Dess bredd motsvarade templets, och det var 10 meter långt och 10 meter brett. Han belade det med 21 ton[a] finaste guld. 9 Guldet till spikarna vägde 600 gram. De övre rummen belade han också med guld.

7 He overlaid the ceiling beams, doorframes, walls and doors of the temple with gold, and he carved cherubim(A) on the walls.
8 He built the Most Holy Place,(B) its length corresponding to the width of the temple—twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. He overlaid the inside with six hundred talents[a] of fine gold. 9 The gold nails(C) weighed fifty shekels.[b] He also overlaid the upper parts with gold.
